Plan your Bar Railing
Bar foot rails are the unsung heroes of the bar, they have an an aesthetic responsibility in your bar. The bar rail brackets you choose can add style to your commercial or home bar, and they come in a variety of mounting types. Your choices will be decided by the kind of look you want, the function you need it to perform, and the type of installation you’re looking for.
Types of bracket
1) Combination Brackets
Combination rails tend to be the choice of many bar owners. They come with sturdy and worry-free face and floor mounts you can rely on to carry the weight of the most overflowing full house. Installation is easy – you don’t need access to the back of the bar. The tubing will be mounted at a height of around six inches from the floor and sit around the same distance from the face of the bar. Where the rails turn corners, the tubings are connected by elbow joints.
2) Bar Mount Brackets
Bar mount brackets offer the cleanest look as they fix directly on the face of your bar with a bolt in the back and face screws in the front. No hardware touches the floor and it’s easy to get under the brackets to clean. You can also choose a custom height for the position of the rails as there are no floor mounts involved. Most other rail types will force you to a height of 6 inches.
But note that since the bar mount brackets use a bolt in the back for weight-bearing, so you’ll need to leave the back of your bar clear for installation.
3) Floor Mount Brackets
Sturdier than the combination bracket and the bar mount bracket is the floor mount bracket. As expected, it’s mounted to the floor and makes it practically impossible for any tren enanthate cycle circumstance to cause any damage from mounting the brackets on the bar face. Typically, the bar rail will sit around 5 1/2 to 6 inches off the floor.
4) Center Post Brackets
Center post brackets have low profiles, sitting around 3 1/2 inches from the floor. They are versatile pieces of bar railing hardware you can use as a bar kick rail or hand rails for the counter. They’re ideal for bars with lower counters and lower bar stools. You have the option of fixing these rails to the walls as handrails as well. The bar brackets are post style and when fixed to the floor, they can add a clean, edgy look to your barroom or home bar.
90-degree Brackets
As the name suggests, 90-degree brackets attach to both the floor and the bar face (or a wall) for additional stability. What makes them different from combination brackets is the 90-degree angle between the mount arms. They ensure a strong and secure mounting to the floor and the wall. These brackets are easy to install, with 1 1/2 inch screws. They sit up to six inches above the floor.
